Supernatural Paint Decontamination Pad - synthetic clay pad 135mm (5.5 inch)

Instead of claying the panel before machining, you can opt to use a Paint Decontamination Pad by machine for decontamination. With its rubberised surface, the pad shears and plucks contaminants from the paint surface, leaving behind a clean and levelled finish ready for machine polishing.

Suits rotary or orbital use, and the aggression of the pad can be varied by how much clay lubricant is used on the panel during the decontamination process.

Note that mechanical paint decontamination invariably causes micro-marring (clay marring) and machine polishing will almost certainly be necessary afterwards.
